This 90-minute webinar is centered around the belief that “inclusion inspires innovation”.  This concept is reflected in many products in today's marketplace. However, the groundbreaking accessibility features Apple has introduced over the years embody the universal design philosophy that technology should empower all users to do their best work.

iOS devices such as the iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch include a number of built-in features that allow diverse users to access information and express themselves as creative individuals, including  a screen reader, a comprehensive switch access solution, support for closed captions, text to speech, word prediction, dictation and more.

These universal design features are  complemented by a number of apps that together create a powerful toolkit for improving access and inclusion when they are used in innovative and transformative ways. As a person with a significant visual impairment, the speaker Luis Pérez will demonstrate how these technologies not only have empowered him in pursuing his advanced studies in the field of education, but also his hobby as a photographer.
