Program Description

Catapulting Talent: Strategic Succession, The Role of Training and Development in Succession Planning

Few events carry greater risk to an organization than an unexpected change in leadership and/or other key positions.  So, why do so many businesses have an ineffective succession process or, even worse, no succession planning process at all?

Because it is hard to get it right.

Strategic Succession provides organizations with a new way of thinking about talent.  Succession is much more than completing a 9-box assessment and determining a development plan—it is how you engage with your talent every day, especially top talent.

It is important that leaders change their mindset on the talent contract—so everyday is a development opportunity.  When such a strategy is embedded into the culture, succession planning becomes integral in attracting and retaining top talent.

Catapult will show you a roadmap for Strategic Succession—a new way of thinking about succession.
