Presented by Rebecca Boyle, Trocaire College

The composition of college and university student bodies has changed significantly.Veterans, career-changers, and older students are now filling the seats in our classrooms along with the traditional 18- to 22-year-olds. These problemcentered, results-oriented, self-directed,and often skeptical learners will get more out of your training if you tailor the experience to their needs. You will see how the content can be delivered using multiple instructional methods, and how these simple variations can make a significant difference in the quality of the learning. The session will show examples of collaborative learning, experiential learning, structured participation, and problem-based learning.
