Angelette (Angie) Boddie brings over 25 years of extensive experience in program management, organizational transformation, and strategic planning to her role as the Director of Mentor Now for ATD Buffalo Niagara. With a rich professional background that includes leadership positions at eBay, TCGPlayer, Bryant & Stratton College, and Synacor, Angie is well-equipped to drive the mentoring initiatives of the organization.
She holds an MS in Adult Education and a BA in Business Studies from SUNY Buffalo State University and is certified as a Situational Leadership Facilitator and Talent Optimizer. Angie's core competencies encompass strategic program development, comprehensive curriculum design, engaging facilitation and coaching, data-driven evaluation and improvement, inclusive design and cultural sensitivity, and continuous learning and adaptability.
At eBay, Angie developed a comprehensive 6-month leadership development program that was adopted following a merger and acquisition. Her expertise in data analytics and metrics for evaluating learning and development programs, along with her experience in implementing learning management systems (LMS) and strategic talent management practices, positions her as a pivotal leader in the field.
Mentoring has been a cornerstone of Angie's career, providing her with invaluable insights and opportunities for growth. She believes that a robust mentoring program can significantly enhance the professional development of ATD members by fostering strong, supportive relationships and sharing valuable knowledge and experiences. In her vision, the Mentor Now program will be a catalyst for personal and professional growth, empowering members to achieve their fullest potential through meaningful connections and guided learning.
